Designer Profile: Sareh Nouri

Sareh Nouri is a well known bridal gown designer based out of New York. She has had a passion for wedding dresses and design ever since she was just a child. One interesting fact about Sareh is that she started out her career by creating her own wedding dress; she was not pleased with any of her options that were out there in the market for her. Her passion soon became something so much bigger!! She wanted to create for other women that had the same problem she did; a women having a vision in her head of what would be perfect for her wedding day!! And here she is today!!

Sareh did not initially have an intention to become a wedding gown designer even though she loves weddings and dresses all of her life. She attended George Mason University and graduated with a degree from graphic design, so she did have a back up plan if she did not become successful when designing dresses for lovely women. Being a native of Iran, Sareh takes inspiration from beautiful Persian traditional art. She works very closely with pattern drafter and highly trained dress makers to create all of her beautiful couture gowns. All of the collections and pieces she designs have both a sense of tradition and whimsical details within them, showing off both sides of todays modern bride and appealing to their needs and wants. Sareh Nouri collection gowns can be found all over the world in bridal boutiques!
