BRIDAL STYLING AT ITS BEST - WHEN THE MODEL IS EVE HARLOW

Earlier in the summer I had the pleasure of working with a Canadian actress (now L.A resident) Eve Harlow, so happens she is also my beautiful sister, and when a concept struck me for a stylized bridal shoot I had to ask Eve if she could be my model, as this concept couldn't happen without her aura.

I have gathered a stellar team, starting with the only photographer I felt could "get" the concept was Carla Silva, owner and creative director of Photasia Photography Re Imagined

Next we chose a beautiful venue - The Hartman Gallery, we were also thrilled to have Nicole Richards & Co for all the Makeup and Hair services and Ryan Apigo did our beautiful video which you can view in the end of this post. Our gorgeous gowns were shipped to us from the Ines Di Santo showroom in NYCspecifically for our shoot (really honoured) and we couldn't wait to get creative.

The idea was simple, it all started with my continuous passion with art and paintings and "old world anything" (I'm such a sucker for anything art history). I have gathered some inspiration through vintage china (from my grandma) and singular floral blooms, to custom jewellery with jewel colours. There was a plethora of vintage items that we used from the venue itself as it is known to hold vintage and antique markets on its premises and so the collection was astounding, I had fun to say the least.

I also wanted to showcase something unique to brides that are constantly looking to make their bridal photos a work of art. There is not need to make it over the top, but simply unique and curated to your character and personality. Yes for some it might be a bit of a "too much " thing or they might call it theatrical, or too elaborate, or too opulent.

BUT

These are not just "any" pictures. These are your bridal / wedding pictures, which you will share for years, you will share with family and friends, which you will share with your older self.  Indulge in the moment and give yourself the pleasure of having a bit of a - je ne sais quoi - element to your wedding photographs that you will hold on to for the rest of your life.

Now besides being a crazy stunning shoot, we had the pleasure of having it featured in the current September 2015 Issue of the Wedluxe Magazine Trend Report -  inside also is a full interview with Eve Harlow and her current role in the upcoming TV Series "Heroes Reborn" on NBC.

I hope we showed you something beautiful to get you inspired for your bridal photography session and remember to always ask your photographer/even designer for anything out of ordinary they might add to it,  you know we LOVE IT !!!

As always for the love of beauty,
